  1. dr h, with great respect, this chopping and changing of opinion on dark matter is bringing the church into chaos, and creating disquiet among the parishioners. the coin collection boxes will soon show how unwise it is, for church fathers to reveal uncertainty about the nature of nature. repent, or the children of particle physicists will soon be begging their bread in the street outside pubs.

  2. dark energy is ordinary energy bleeding into our bubble through the rupture we are taught to worship as 'god-making-light,' or 'big bang.' still difficult to imagine the outcome, but physicists for generations to come may practice their invocations, religious or secular, secure that the modest stipend humanity pays for this kind of wisdom will endure longer than they do.
