  1. one of the charms of actual democracy, is that public business must be done in public, so that it can be assented to, or refused, by the ruling class, who are the citizens. really hard to be corrupt in such a society. getting democracy is easy, for citizen quality people. perhaps impossible for submissive, dim, and/or ill-educated chumps. why is it, that usans don't have democracy?

  2.  Jeff Jordan  absolutely right. i wish lefties were as well informed about their history. but my question was directed to those would-be lefties, why don't you admit you don't have democracy, so that you can organize to get it.
