  1. everyone is just making a living, in the usa. it's not just plutocracy, it's plutalotry*. in any event, colbert does what he does, for money. so does mr dore. so do we all, to some degree. why despise colbert? i was never captivated by barry. when he was running for president, it was clear his words were empty, just another politician- slick willy in brownface. but a charming man, like slick willy, and if you must be ruled by lies and smiles, better than dubya or biden. * i made this up, perhaps, but there is a clear need for such a word.
