  1. who is master of the usa? a few hundred politicians direct the nation, 'on behalf' of a few hundred million people. it is necessary to lie to these people to prevent rebellion. the money to broadcast these lies must come from the rich, personal or commercial, and these people have 'their' pet politicians on speed dial. in a time of declining national income, the squeeze will be felt from the bottom up, and ultimately the myths that support the rule of the rich will be worn away. usa is not a democracy. that should be obvious, but the word is in constant use, so the 'lies' are still effective with many people. there is another consequence of the absence of democracy.which is less obvious: when you grow up in a fog of lies, reality is not obvious, and the character of a citizen does not form. the people are cattle, willing to be ruled by politicians, so long as they are lied to. nothing can be done with such people. poverty and dictatorship is the usual result.
