let me simplify: ukraine loves usa. ukraine has active nazi organizations. ukranine harbors about 25 bio-war labs for the usa. so i find myself sympathetic to russia and putin. it's not that i have abandoned my desire for democracy, it's that the enemy of autocratic russia is so much worse. let me simplify even further: since my naive participation in the vietnam war, i can resolve foreign affairs with this mantra - "usa bad! others better!"
