  1. it doesn't have to be this way. if any big number of usa peeps say publicly, "i will have democracy, or start shooting to make politicians extinct." then politicians would act to save themselves. either democracy, or civil war would result. don't dare? then shut up, because powerful elites don't listen to people who prefer slavery to combat.
