  1. small town cop is one step up from mall guard. they ain't, in general, sas retirees. the mass shootings will continue, symptomatic of severely alienated people in a society where rich and poor can enjoy 'freedom.' freedom for the rich works well, for others, not so much. the coppers are alienated too - 'hey, i could get dead, or ruined here, and for what?' james madison set usa on this course, he was very frank: the rich would direct the proposed 'usa,' to prevent the many from taxing them. and his constitution delivered that result. elective oligarchy in service to the rich is functional plutocracy. get a new constitution, this one is malignant. i recommend one establishing democracy.
