  1. china level performance out of reach. but usa in principle could emulate helvetia. they use a system called 'democracy,' which is both responsive to the citizens, and very effective. this is also out of reach of usa, but california and several other states use it, and it works quite well- they even fired a governor. with guidance, the usa might gradually become a democracy. considering how often they talk about it, you would think usans would be longing for it.
