  1. difficult to imagine what life would be like without the evil empire. they seem to be involved in everything nasty. i presume they are responsible for everything nasty - saves time, and seldom wrong. if usa people had a sense of shame, and controlled their nation, the world would be a better place. but one of those suppositions is clearly wrong, and perhaps both. princeton university demonstrated the total lack of control recently, academics are not completely useless. but nothing came of it, when there is 'total lack of control' it doesn't matter if you are ashamed.
