censorship is always bad, even dim jerks must be allowed to offer facts and opinions for public evaluation.
chomsky suggested rogan's contribution is trivial, and often wrong. he wishes people would talk about more important matters. make your own judgement about the relative value of chomsky and rogan in public discussion, but chomsky is not 'for' censorship, he just wishes people would talk about bigger problems.
chomsky makes mistakes, in my view, but he has been a voice for civilization for longer than most have been alive, and deserves our respect. also, whenever you find yourself in disagreement with him, have strong arguments prepared.
the 'truckers' are not the people. they are a very small segment of the population, many are contractors, not wage-workers. their main point of contention with usa government seems to be that they want the freedom to spread disease, sorry, no, they don't.
