  1. don't blame politicians for being what they are. they reflect the education, intelligence and character of the general populace. usans could have democracy, if they knew what it was, and wanted it. but either or both are lacking. so 'elites' rule the nation, for themselves. it's almost easy to get democracy, but no one seems to want it. a nation of chumps will be ruled by a gang of parasites
