  1. during the course of the vietnam war i learned my nation was run by rabid dogs. nothing that has happened since has disturbed that evaluation. worse, i learned that ordinary usans were unconcerned by the character of their rulers. i am old now, and it's likely that usa will out-live me. would have liked to see the whole place burn down.
