  2. if shooting people counts, then 'yes.' if invading other nations counts, that's a big 'yes.' this is a rhetorical question, i presume. and shooting jfk, and following with rfk, that definitely influenced successive elections. usa is a kingdom of lies and myths. held together with occasional murder and prospering from war. i say 'kingdom,' just to underscore the reality that usa is no kind of democracy. which is a reflection on the character of the people. just not citizen quality, only suited to serfdom. perhaps marx's 'lumpen proletariat' would be more appropriate.
