  1. the usa does not have referendum or initiative. it is not a democracy. it is an evolved aristocracy, wherein elections replace civil war. this degrades the electorate, but at least no one needs to die, and the productive capacity of the nation is not immediately destroyed. i see no sign of recognition of usa political dysfunction. it's always talk of personalities. but there are no fairy god-mothers. in fact, politicians more often resemble used- horse dealers..
