  1. unfortunately, the winner-take-all voting scheme of usa states means that small left parties make life easier for big right parties. the dems started as a party for the people, but it doesn't pay. what pays in the electoral environment of the usa is to be just like the right wing party, so you will get support from big money, and add a few trivial features, of a social nature. that's why the democratic party, and the usa, is what it is. if you want change, you must change the system, not good enough to twiddle with features. if you, haven't got the combination of courage, smarts and persistence to organize a revolution, better to run for office, like aoc. she won't accomplish much, but it's a living. and she can look forward to a long career as she more and more resembles pelosi.
