there really is no such thing as a right to free speech. but in a democracy, the citizens will demand the right to hear information. they have that right, held from power, because they are the masters of their society. the right is not held by any other kind of society, however much you may hear the word. many societies have a privilege of free speech, it ends when the government decides to end it. no individual can have rights, for lack of power, unless they are members of the ruling group.
assange has done a favor to the people of the usa, and most repay him by supporting their government in its plan to punish him severely, to discourage imitators. don't do any more favors, for that nation, it is dangerous, and nearly useless. really, the whole world should sanction the usa, but unfortunately, most are ruled by elites equally evil.
