  1. yer wrong, mr dore, in the world of politicians, 'friend' just means 'colleague' in the profession of politics. if the used the normal sense of sympathetic person, they would have no friends. bernie made a good living out of being 'a champion of the poor,' but politicians are never your friends, like whores, they do it for money, not love. people who let politicians rule are lacking in self-respect, and probably hire 'love' as well. 40% of the electorate never vote, and have made the most accurate assessment of the value of participation in the usa political myth.
