  1. the democratic party is unconcerned with democracy, never has been. they were happy to have bernie as a foil for clinton, as a debate opponent, although he was alarmingly popular. that the debate loser might turn out to be the people's choice this time around pretty much brands the dnc as wholly-owned by the rich. much more convenient to the brand if bernie is not nominated. but the fundamental american problem is a constitution written by a slave plantation plutocrat to keep the rich in power. corruption built in, and no solution but revolution. since that is not going to happen any time soon, americans are screwed, from birth. "but bernie will save us!" to paraphrase mr. 'yes, we can,' 'no, he won't.' no one man can undo 230 years of culture and law by saying 'just needs $15 minimum wage.' because bernie won't decide, even if he wins. he would need the support of house and senate to get anything done, and even a lot of democrats hate him.
