the question is, when trump was known to be an inferior person with no visible talent beyond lying and self promotion, how is it that no professional politician in either party could beat him? i suggest the answer is that the basic structure and culture of usa is rotten, and replacing trump with hillary would not improve things for the bottom 50% of america.
