  4. ay has some interesting patches for the the usa ship of state, but he does not address the fundamental questions. he is smart enough to file them in the 'too hard' basket. ubi is his flag feature, and it is simply the wheat issue given to romans, the bread of 'bread and circuses' and no better solution than theirs. no worse, either- a great many americans are surplus to requirement, because the requirement is set by the rich, who can only employ a limited number gardeners, butlers and dancing girls. america needs democracy, and socialism will probably result. but you aren't gonna get it. your would-be leaders just want to lead, not change.

  5. what americans should be worrying about, is their political system. the quality of the people directing the nation is reflected in falling living standard, falling industrial capacity, falling technology development, falling educational outcomes, genuinely laughable standards of public health. this is not just trump, nor is it just now.

  17. in fact, trump is built in to the american constitution. anyone can be president, over 35 and native born. some disastrous 'anyones' have already been there, and the resulting level of management is why, in large part, america is decaying at home, and declining in foreign affairs. and it's not just presidents- rule by politician doesn't select people who know what they are doing, beyond how to get elected and stay elected, so congress has been no asset. the constitution is obsolete. no american seems to know this, still less has there be any move for a better constitution. so america's path is fixed, downwards.
