  1. when you see a skunk, you should anticipate a smell. in my case, when i hear an officer of the usg, i anticipate being lied to. doubly true in the dirty game of covert war. bolton is a notably degenerate human being, listen to him for 3 minutes and file under 'contemptible.' but there are no decent human beings in the spy game. none. and the entire usg is rotten. you can't work in a secret government and remain untainted.
