madison assured his peers in the american elite, that the senate and supreme court were two features that would obviate democracy and ensure the rule of wealth. he was right. the mechanism was not absolute, but bribery has usually prevailed. it will continue to do so until a new constitution, establishing socialism and democracy, prevails in the usa. no sign of that happening, even bernie sanders is happy to assure the chumps that politicians will take care of them, if only they would vote for the right ones. but there are no right ones, nor fairy godmothers, either. and a people that wishes to be 'looked after,' will always be treated as the cattle they are.
