  1. if you had democracy, initiative would reshape the nation to better serve the people. if you inspire a million people to visit d.c. next july 4 each bearing a simple document saying: "give us an effective and accessible power of citizen initiative, and you can stay in office, for awhile." and plaster each to the capitol, the politicians might see reason. if they don't, many more people, with guns.
