  1. the beauty of american politics is that every action is tainted by political self-interest. "they're all crooks!" is literally true. what to do about it, is the question. i can recommend simply leaving. you may also simply 'tend your own garden' and hope the rot doesn't come to your street. or you might say, "what can i do to improve things?" if you have an answer, don't keep it to yourself, millions are waiting to hear.
