the thing is, biden was engaged in cheap corruption, with his son. that is the weak floor on the dem party. we can reasonably assume if biden was president it would be a classier level of corruption. i used to wonder why people voted for politicians, in the face of hundreds of years of evidence that it was counter-productive. about half dim, half lazy. 100% incurable. the political culture of the usa is at a low point, but it began as a prop for slavery, and expropriation of the indigenes, so you would have to hope some progress is evident. not much.
