  1. well, it did work, in this sense" obamacare can charitably called 'token.' the fundamental structure of the usa was designed to allow a few rich people to rule nation 0f 300+ millions. the usa is not a democracy, it is an elective oligarchy, and most of those oligarchs are in debt to the rich. both parties run on money, and the very rich can afford to bribe, rent or own sufficient politicians to bend the operations of state towards making the rich, richer. the recent entry of bloomberg is simply a 'hobbyist, who can afford 100s of millions to indulge his current pastime. i can not be certain why americans don't want democracy, but my provisional guess is, a nation of idiots.
