  1. this is high school politics, by people who generate an income by pretending to have opinions to readers who pretend to think talk is all that's necessary. in a plutocracy, money infuses every part of the operation of the society, even those parts that have no visible connection to real political decisions. you can do away with capitalism, just devote years of your life to building a would-be citizen action group big enough to force democracy on the oligarchy. then use initiative to shape the nation to the wishes of the electorate. not mysterious, just not easy. never met anyone willing to act. so continue chatting, it's a rice bowl, and every once in awhile someone says interesting.
