  2. if more than half of murrakin politicians were like bernie, what a wonderful world it would be. but politicians aren't like that . in the youessofay. madison made sure it isn't like that, and would be well-pleased to see his handiwork largely intact. and still the political class think the constitution is a wonderful document. which it is, for them. the pols and the richos are the political class, and the constitution is the source of their power and wealth. as for the 'mob,' as madison referred to them, they are taught to genuflect to the word, as it protects them from the necessity of dealing with difficult questions, such as education, health care and peace or war. their smart and saintly representatives take care of all that, sleep easy. i am tempted to think americans are mortal dim.
