let's not be too judgemental- there are no clean hands in the american political system. it is rotten from the top down, the consequence of constructing a legal system to support slavery and wealth. no amount of subsequent amendment can compensate for the lack of democracy. and lips pursed 'progressives' do not impress me- not only is there no talk of revolution, necessary, there is no visible organized resistance. words aren't going to fix it, the grandees will only listen to gunfire, doubtless from a great distance while flying to ireland, russia, or new zealand.
