  1. you don't have to put up with it. you can change the constitution. establish democracy, use initiative to install as much socialism as the citizens want. how: just create a form asking political representatives to publicly state support for writing a power of citizen initiative, accessible and effective, into the constitution. add the explicit promise that failure to do so will cause you to vote for someone who will support the creation of democracy. send that form to the politicians, the newspapers, friends and any other web contacts. see, not even hard. so why hasn't it crossed your mind before now?
