  1. you get the government you are willing to tolerate. you haven't got democracy, and that has created a populace of submissive and ignorant people. biased, prejudiced people. you may say that with such people voting, it's a good thing usa is not a democracy. but that's wrong, because the politicians are even worse. not happy with the way things are going in mycountrytisofthee? look in a mirror and you will see the cause of all your problems. and that, chillun, is why china is eating your lunch. all of the natural advantages enjoyed by the usa are not enough to compensate for the character and education of americans. nobody would give a damn, but you've got an absurd number of nuclear weapons and a commander-in-chief who is a trump.

  2. i would say, if you daily indicate that the usa is run by, and, for an elite, would you join a citizen action group whose sole purpose is to establish democracy? or, do you speak for a living, like colbert, but not so funny, to viewers whose interest is simply to avoid joining the 'loser' class? just academic interest...
