  1. if i were rich and famous, i would make grand pronouncements, too. it's tempting. but, is it any use? the entire usa government could be charged with war crimes and/or genocide, and not forgetting enslavement of africans. from day one, and hardly a day missed ever since. grand pronouncements had no effect. when will it end? the rest of us gotta stop tolerating them. wouldn't hurt to shoot a few, either. the fact is, shooting usa soldiers is the only visible way to modify the activity of the usg. the chinese and vietnamese demonstrated this technique, it works, but it needs real conviction. in the usa, that conviction only arises in the angry mothers of dead soldiers. and this is why usg likes proxy fighting, nowadays. as long as it's someone else's son, no problemo.
