  1. we are not one people. we may strive to live with orcs in human skin, but do not ascribe humanity to them. i am a graduate of the vietnam war. i was fortunate not to participate in the actual mass murder of thousands of peasant farmers, but i was engaged in support of those who did, and worked for those who gave the orders. so i am no longer a citizen of usa, my best decision. the invasion of ukraine is hard to support. but it seems clear to me, that usg owns the current government of ukraine, have done since 2015, and opposing the plans of usg is never wrong, entirely, and usually a very good idea. oliver stone is limited in what he can do, living in and working with usa people. but generally on the side of the angels. but he can't make much impression on a nation whose schools and media propagate myth and simple lies. 'better to light one candle...' but i wish more could be done.
