  1. nationalism a good thing, if each nation was a democracy, but aside from the swiss, none are. when one person, or a very few, run a nation, they aim at personal wealth and power, at the expense of the other people, whether in or out of their nation. the u. n. has done some good, so long as the major powers are not involved. but they can not stop the imperial ambitions of the usa, for lack of military strength. no point in blaming the u. n. for american greed and arrogance. be glad for what little they can do, instead.
