  1. comical. i was in it, and after awhile, you realize you are standing on someone else's land, and they aren't gonna quit. america coulda won, without a shot fired. uncle ho wanted to be friends with usa, he wasn't married to the chinese, or even like them, enemies for a thousand years. but he was a 'commie,' and truman wanted to get elected. dumb? not really of course, politicians don't get shot at, that's for the chumps. so here you are 40-odd years later, trying to cozy up to the 'commie vn to contain china, which is turning out to out-produce usa in new technology.
