madison wrote his constitution to serve the interests of the wealthy, particularly the plantation masters. he discussed democracy, briefly, and condemned it because it would lead to the taxes on the rich being spent on the needs of the poor. and by no co-incidence, there is no democracy, and very little concern for the poor. that remains the law and culture of the usa. until you recognize reality, you can not change it.
