nations with democracy have citizen initiative, those without have riots.
riots may loosen the grip of the rich, but only a little, and temporary. but that deals with mobs. actual change needs organization, planning, and a militia. no sign of visible thought, just rage, so the downward path will continue.
there's a big difference- protesters are obeying the rules, and frighten no one. rioting and looting inspire fear in the middle class who support the rulers, this has often caused trouble for rulers, so trump is threatening 'vicious dogs,' and no desert for dinner.
if usans were citizen quality people, they would have demanded democracy long ago, but they're not, so the cops will go on murdering people, and the politicians will incite war to cover their crimes at home. i've lived in china, and the usa, and there are many differences- chinese cops don't carry guns, and the people are not burning down cities.
