  1. not a psychopath. a sociopath. when ordinary people tolerate the rule of any elite, it 'pays' individual members of the elite to exaggerate the characteristics of the elite. in the end, society 'selects' nut-cases to rule them. no cure, but society can prevent by establishing and maintaining democracy. not a useful prevention, since homer sap has little talent for getting democracy. so the ship of humanity sails on, towards extinction.
