reagan was not the problem. the lack of democracy is the problem.. do you think usa would be in this condition, if the electorate had a power of citizen initiative?

@wvu05 it's better to have the state doing the will of the majority than the will of a minority. democracy does not promise anything but a means to ensure that the rich can be controlled. it's up to the people to ensure it is used wisely.

@technatezin democracy works, if you have it. usa doesn't have it. democracy is not rule by politicians, it is rule by citizens.
