  1. usa was born to support slavery, and the subjection of indigenous peoples. it was born to provide a means for the rich to rule the many. usa is what it is, by design. one result is a populace of crazy people, gun violence arises from insanity, and would be 'sword violence', or 'club violence' if guns were not available. guns are available, so that ordinary people can resist oppressive government. a good idea at the time, but obsolete. the guns are there for a good purpose, perverted by an oligarchic rule. resistance to government oppression now can only be done by getting democracy, and making government extinct. replaced with administration directed by referendum and initiative. 'of, by and for the people' will greatly reduce the incidence of insanity. but that is too hard. so we'll pretend to attack the problem by ignoring the oligarchy, and resulting insanity, and blaming guns.
