  1. people are shaped by culture and law. you can dislike the result, but it as natural as rain-shaped stone. greed and arrogance were imported with british colonists, burnished with racism in support of african slavery, and contempt for the natives, enabling expropriation. there is no visible self-reflection in the usa, 3 people have half the wealth, and no discussion of social principles is evident. usa is not content, except at the top, but only the top matters, by law and custom. crash is inevitable. the only point of interest is whether usa murders the world on the way down.
