  1. the only historical method of extirpating 'fascism' is to shoot enough so you can hang the rest. in a democracy, the homogenizing tendency of shared power would prevent oligarchies from flourishing, but getting democracy is nearly impossible. so, don't worry, be happy, things will turn out, or not.
