  3. many people think trump is incompetent, but they are wrong. inheriting great wealth, a sociopath character, and an iq of about 90, it naturally took him a long, long time to find his metier, which it turns out, is to be president of the usa. usa was in deep trouble before he came to office, it is quite simply corrupt and decaying. this is not trump's fault. he hasn't improved things, of course, but nor could anyone else. trump in fact perfectly embodies usa, from bloated body, to 3rd rate mind. boasting and lies have been characteristic of usan public figures from the birth of the nation, trump is very much in the national tradition. gore vidal could have made an additional career just commenting on this cartoon figure of usa. but there is nothing to be gained by pointing out trump's flaws, except the new cottage-industry of using the web to gossip for coins thrown by viewers. voltaire and swift made something of this art, their like has not yet appeared . the alternative presented by the opposition party was hillary clinton. if you are sure she would have been better, i pity you. thinking americans, with education and experience, should be publicly canvassing the support for a new constitution. nothing less will save you from russia's fate. not sure there are any, but possibly the intelligent response to conditions in the usa is to be silent preparatory to emigrating.
