  1. if we express 'usan values' from usa history and founding documents, then greed and thuggery was the core of the nation, from the beginning and always.. until you face reality, how can you change it? the sainted founding fathers were more in tune with trump than with chomsky or hedges. and somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of usans think trump is somewhere between 'useful creep' and 'mein fuhrer.' as a practical matter, emigration has a lot to offer anyone troubled with an ethical sense. there is no way out of the pit that madison built for usa. but, hope springs eternal, 'if we just elect good people, good will result.' give emigration more thought.
