  1. no sympathy from me. you tolerate a government designed in the 1700's, for the purpose of empowering the rich. [and incidentally protecting slavery.] it was meant to weaken the people, strengthen the well connected. perhaps i should say it works very well, to its design purpose. sometimes you have to decide to change things, at whatever cost. apparently there first must be endless waffle, and whining, but someday things will change fast, with guns and blood. or you could do a bit of constitutional re-design before the wheels come off.
