  2. the purpose of the american constitution was to create a state in which the 'opulent' ruled the 'mob.' that's why it is not a constitution of a democracy. madison did not want his taxes spent at the will of the majority. this principle he sold to the grandees who controlled state congresses, the establishment of the constitution had nothing to do with "we, the people," that was just the first lie. rhode island did ask the people, who rejected the constitution. the other states accepted, and in the end, rhode island went along. neoliberalism is not new. it's just a euphemism for greed. the rich hate politics, which in principle is blind to wealth. so they promote the idea that less government is good government, which it is, for them. they like informal 'government,' secret meetings and money changing hands. nothing new about that. don't blame the rich for being hyenas. blame the poor for being sheep. both are doing what is natural, but it chiefly benefits the hyenas. open yer eyes, sheeple.
