  1. almost daily, i watch mr hartmann scratch his head and wonder why 'american democracy' doesn't work for most americans. truly, it is visible psychosis. the distinguishing feature of democracy is that it does work for most citizens, by force. the citizens vote, in referendum, occasionally initiative, majority rules. that's called democracy. 'american democracy' is a variety of psychosis. it has literally nothing in common with actual democracy. it has neither referendum, much less, does it have initiative. what is the cure for this disease? reality. this is not a pleasant medicine. reality may simply be death. refusal to acknowledge reality will certainly be death. but no public figure says, "we don't have democracy, and we must get it." so what will be the future of usa? various possibilities, but the the favorite must be dictatorship.
