  1. a good presentation , but times have changed since nixon: there is currently a much wider perception that both parties are moral degenerates. so trump supporters can hear his sins, and be unembarrassed, 'he may be a creep, but so is your guy, and this one is ours.' democracy is the cure for what ails america, but it turns out that americans are not citizen-quality people. anomie is the label, i call it the sicilian disease. so it's more of the same for the usa, tailing off into military rule of each of the rump survivor states- westcoastia, northeastia, and bubbaland.
