no, it's not. it was a lie. constitution was not established by the people, only rhode island asked its people, and they rejected it. democracy is rule by the citizens, and madison made sure that didn't happen.

no elite likes democracy, and politicians will not hand over their power until they are forced to. since usans think voting for politicians is democracy, this will never happen. i'm sorry, folks, ignorant and dim will never have democracy--- that is a bi-partisan policy.
