  1. the usg was designed in the 1780's, on the british model of the day, with intention to protect the rule of wealth, particularly the slave plantation wealth. it is hopelessly obsolete, and can not be fixed from within, unless you expect politicians to vote themselves out of work. so it must be revolution. or continuing decadence ending in military coup. usa is a write-off. the only interesting question is whether the elite will attempt to hold power by starting ww3. that is what they are doing, portraying china's skill in commerce, science and engineering as a military threat, when actually it is only in military threat that usa has any dominance.
